In MOULIN ROUGE Ewan McGregor plays Christian, a young writer and gifted poet, who defies his bourgeois father by moving to the bohemian underworld of Montmartre, Paris. He is plunged into the heady world of the Moulin Rouge and of artist Henri de Toulouse- Lautrec (John Leguizamo) and his entourage, whilst drafted to write a nightclub spectacular.
