Michel Poicard (Jean-Paul Belmondo) steals a car in Marseilles to get to Paris so he can find Patricia Franchini (Jean Seberg) an American girl he loves. On route in the stolen car though Michel shoots at a policeman in hot pursuit and kills him. This fast paced movie started the French 'nouvelle vague' film movement of the early 1960s and is in black and white.

To celebrating its 50th anniversary restoration, Rialto and Optimum are re-releasing this cult classic.
