Season 6

Still in the midst of the Korean War, the 4077 Mobile Army Surgical Hospital is driven to new lengths to make the best of their life on camp. The mood is lightened by the unit's unique style of practical jokes, further deepening relationships and even a M*A*S*H Olympics! M*A*S*H Season Six also sees the first introduction of Major Charles Emerson Winchester III (David Odgen Stiers), in the hour long, Emmy Award nominated first episode, 'Fade In, Fade Out'.

An undercurrent to the memorable sixth season is Major Margaret 'Hotlips' Houlihan's (Loretta Swift) marital troubles. Things come to a head in another Emmy Award nominated two-part episode 'Comrade in Arms' where Hotlips and Hawkeye are trapped by enemy fire. M*A*S*H Season Six also sees the return of many familiar faces to the 4077 including the exasperating George 'Goober' Lindsay as Roy Dupree in 'Temporary Duty', and Alan Arbus's psychiatrist, the discerning Dr Sidney Freedman, in the memorable episode 'War Of Nerves'.
