Synopsis

In Columbia Pictures comedy thrill-ride MONSTER HOUSE, three kids (newcomers Mitchel Musso, Sam Lerner and Spencer Locke) cross to the other side of the street to unlock a mystery and experience the greatest adventure of their lives.

12 year-old DJ Walters (Mitchel Musso), who is maturing from childhood towards puberty, is convinced there's something weird about old Nebbercracker's house across the street. Things keeps disappearing and what happened to Mrs Nebbercracker?

It's the day before Halloween and DJ and his best friend Chowder (Sam Lerner) have a run-in with Mr Nebbercracker when their basketball lands on Mr Nebbercracker's front lawn and is mysteriously swept into the house. Then Jenny (Spencer Locke), who becomes their new friend, knocks at Mr Nebbercracker's front door selling goods for Halloween and is lucky to escape with her life. No-one though will believe their claims about the danger the house poses including the local sheriff and his deputy, so it's up to them to investigate!

DJ has the plan. Jenny has the brains. Chowder doesn't have a clue!

Two seminal Oscar winning filmmakers, Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg, join forces in MONSTER HOUSE together with talented newcomer director Gil Kenan and are pioneering another breakthrough in the art of moviemaking: The art of cutting edge technology known as motion-capture animation.
