DAYBREAK is a film about people in a state of change. It is a story about the need for a chance in order to survive; it is a story about love being greater than hate.

Anders (Magnus Krepper) is a bricklayer who constantly works to provide for his family. One night he is offered a job opportunity with an irresistible cash payment. Despite his family's disapproval Anders can't refuse it.

Anita (An Petren) hasn't seen her ex-husband since he remarried a woman twenty-five years his junior three years earlier. Suddenly Anita gets an opportunity to see him again, to finally get some answers to her important questions.
