On the night before an old friend’s wedding, three high spirited bridesmaids go searching for a little fun but find much more than they bargained for. Becky (Rebel Wilson) is about to marry the handsome love of her life, Dale (Hayes MacArthur), so the remaining members of her high school clique reunite for one last bachelorette bacchanal in the Big Apple.
Regan (Kirsten Dunst) is an overachiever who is secretly annoyed she’s not the first to marry, while Gena (Lizzy Caplan) though she has a sarcastic streak is actually a closet romantic, while Katie (Isla Fisher) loves the good life.
While Becky keeps the bachelorette party tame, the women proceed with an after-hours celebration of their own, which gets very wild very quickly. Will the girls get through the night alive? Can they fix the dress, be there for Becky, and get to the ceremony on time? Time is ticking away, but the bachelorettes are only getting started in what proves to be a life altering weekend they will never forget.
Based on her critically acclaimed play “Bachelorette,” Leslye Headland writes and directs this razor-sharp comedy about women on the verge of hilarious breakdowns, spectacular breakthroughs, and even closer friendships.
