Synopsis

During the late 17th century in West Africa, King Adanggaman leads a war against his neighboring tribes and commands his soldiers to torch enemy villages with orders to kill the elderly and capture the healthy tribesmen so that they can be sold to European slave traders.

When Ossei's village is attacked by King Adanggaman's soldiers he manages to escape, but his family is murdered except for his mother who is captured. Chasing after the soldiers in an effort to free her, Ossei (Ziable Honore Goore Bi) is befriended by a fierce warrior named Naka (Mylene-Perside Boti Kouame).
