Colin Diamond's world has been turned upside down. His wife is leaving him; she's having an affair with a French waiter. Loverboy. What did Colin do wrong? He loved her, cared for her, sometimes he brought her flowers. And now this? She rips out his heart and tosses it casually aside? He's upset, he's distraught, he's angry. He can't handle the pain and snaps - attacks his wife. She flees. His mates rally around, an unsavoury bunch at best. They kidnap Loverboy, dragging him off to a decaying London house and locking the love-rat in a wardrobe. Now, Colin can unleash his retribution. Egged on by his motley crew of mates, the aggrieved man must make a decision. Is he going to right this wrong?

Is he going to kill his wife's lover in cold blood?

Colin Diamond (Ray Winstone) is in agony, shattered by the bombshell of his wife's (Joanne Whalley) infidelity with a young French waiter. His motley crew of friends - Old Man Peanut (John Hurt), Meredith (Ian McShane), Archie (Tom Wilkinson), and Mal (Stephen Dillane) - kidnap Loverboy (Melvil Poupaud), and assemble a kangaroo court so that Colin can restore his manhood with revenge. A very bumpy night ensues for Loverboy whose life is at stake as Colin wrestles with heartbreak, anger, madness, love and gargantuan self-pity.

From the writers of SEXY BEAST (Louis Mellis and David Scinto) comes a tale wrought with anger, vengeance, love and fear.

From first time director Malcolm Venville.
